Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC has invited applications from candidates to apply for Civil Judge posts. Candidates who want to apply for the post can visit the official site of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in. A total of 176 posts will be filled up through this recruitment drive. Candidates can apply for the post till October 9, 2019.

TNPSC Civil Judge posts: Eligibility Criteria
- For Practising Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors: Candidates must possess a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission, or recognized by Bar Council of India.
- For Fresh Law Graduates: Candidates must be a fresh Law Graduate possessing a degree in Law from a recognised University. OR Candidates must have secured an overall percentage of marks in acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree of Law. Official Notification here.
- For Practising Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors: Candidates should be above 25 years of age and below 35 years of age.
- For Fresh Law Graduates: Candidates should be above 22 years of age and below 27 years of age.
TNPSC Civil Judge posts: Selection Process
The selection process comprises of three successive stages- Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-Voca Test. The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper containing 100 multiple choice questions based on the syllabus given below. It will be conducted in the forenoon session.
